BYW 2 deserves to fail, and I'll buy UtS when I'm able to find a copy.

2009 TNL Fantasy Football Champion
Not bad at all considering the game wasn't really advertised at all and just kind of "appeared" on the shelves. Shows just how starved for RPGs the GC is.Originally Posted by Bacon McShig
That's pretty hilarious, particularly Under the Skin which I've never even heard of. I can't believe Ghosthunter didn't even break a thousand with all the magazine advertising and solid reviews it got, survival horror really is on a sharp decline.PS2 UNDER THE SKIN $14,684 370
PS2 GHOSTHUNTER $46,574 953
PS2 NIGHTMARE OF DRUAGA $30,236 761
PS2 BLOOD WILL TELL $33,762 849
PS2 APE ESCAPE: PUMPED $36,862 932
And, man, Ape Escape, talk about a franchise with wasted potential...
omg TNL epics!
Well, that's one I wasn't sure of the release on, it may have been October and did stronger then. Still, even if that number is second month, it couldn't have done too good the first.I can't believe Ghosthunter didn't even break a thousand with all the magazine advertising and solid reviews it got, survival horror really is on a sharp decline.
And even though it's a bomb, I can't believe over 8,000 people bought friggin' Fight Club. 8,000 people are deluded enough to think that could possibly be worth their $50? I weep for humanity.
MGS3 suffered too, it sold under 300k, which was about half what Konami expected after they revised down figures dramatically. No way the game breaks 6 million worldwide like they wanted.Originally Posted by toxic

..the numbers for Japan are even more sick, with SMB closing in on 600k (and the entire Famicom Mini line is well past 2 million).
I was actually expecting quite a bit more after Symphonia's breakout succes this summer and the fact that Baten Kaitos looks much more mainstream friendly. The GameCube audience is pretty fickle.Originally Posted by Ragnarok the Red
Interestingly enough, the NES Dr. Mario on the GBA has wireless multiplayer off a single cart support.
Nice extra, I thought (still not $20 nice, tho).

PS2 KOF: MAXIMUM IMPACT $367,593 8,195

XBX THE BARD'S TALE $373,160 7,542
Fight Club outsold Otogi 2... people are even dumber than I thought.
And Blood Will Tell sold practically nothing.
I think it's some kind of Sega curse.
"I've watched while the maggots have defiled the earth. They have
built their castles and had their wars. I cannot stand by idly any longer." - Otogi 2
I think some of this has to do with shelf space. I've seen Fight Club in sereral stores, and I certainly wasn't looking for it. At EB and Gamestop they put it right in the middle of the shelf at eye level. I went in serveral stores specifically looking for Blood Will Tell, and I couldn't find it. I finally saw one copy at EB. I have seen Otogi 2 at a few stores though.Originally Posted by Ammadeau
Quit yer bitching about the Classic NES games. I would much rather buy Castlevania alone than Castlevania with Pac-Man for $30. Or any other bad combination. Seriously. Also you have to realise that alot of people are buying these games for their kids because they played the games themselves as kids.
Anyways, yea, Metroid sales # is stupid with Zero Mission still readily available.
How the hell is an SP game wireless multiplayer Mzo?
