Ninja Gaiden may have never been popular in Japan (most action games in Japan aren't that popular with the exception of mascot games and Castlevania), but that doesn't mean that it doesn't have a following.

I'm with you on that. If there is one game i wouldn't want in 3D, its ninja gaiden. The gameplay relied soley on speed and precision, and thats a combination that doesn't translate into 3D. I also have no faith in tecmo these days. They haven't released a great game like ninja gaiden since ninja gaiden. They have gone from my favorite 3rd party developer in the NES days to a developer i don't even care about.

Maybe not, but it does have some loveli fanart. It's a shame that the OG Ninja Gaiden hasn't made an update for over two years.

Ninja Gaiden in 3D..... Nope, just can't picture it no matter how hard I try. Well, mabey Tecmo can surprise me. The days of fast action/good controll may be gone, dead at the hands of 3D, but at least we get another look at what the Xbox can do when it's not hindered by the port thing.

i cant believe hoe hard people cling to 2d on this board, i was like that for a couple of years but 3d games are currently reaching the same level of playability as their 2d predecessors.

If they ever make a new Ninja Gaiden for the GBA, they should make it a new game and not another watered-down SNES-to-GBA port (chances are they just going to put Ninja Gaiden Trilogy to the small screen).
