That's a Fender P-Bass, right? Out of curiosity, did it perform adequately in that playing environment?

I have a black Fender P-Bass that's allowed me to animate my own musical visions in my spare time, and I'm surprised to see another musician using the same instrument at such a high profile gig.

Its a P-Bass body w/ a J-Bass neck. Also a J-Bass bridge pickup. I dont use the J-Bass pickup.

Yes. Its a fantastic bass.

That bass plays and sounds fantastic, and I think I spent maybe $350 on it.
Fender makes some really nice high end P-Basses that sell for well over $1000. I'd really like one of those.
