    Working overnight at my job tonight, right now, and tomorrow, so I can feel ya when it comes to actually having the holiday off and how great a present in and of itself that is.

    My present came back in October when my brother bought me an AMD 64FX-53 chip with which to build my dream monster desktop around. I really couldn't have asked for much more than that.

    My mom got me a new wallet, which is great because my old one was falling apart. And these two things were about all I needed or wanted, lord knows I've treated myself to enough games and DVDs this year
    omg TNL epics!

  3. ok, overall, I got all of the above plus about $110 AUD.

    ok, maybe tomorrow I'll upload it. ts fantastic. After further listening, its kinda like a cross between ATDi and Drive like Jehu, but also kinda dance rocky and really punky at times. I don't think you'll be able to find a CD of theirs though, they're from New Zealand, and I couldn't even find any in Sydney (got it off a kiwi friend).

    sigh, everytime you make fun of our dollar I have to explain this.

    Your economy is going down the shitter while ours has been going incredibly well despite world trends. Since 2002, the value of our dollar has risen by over a third.

    the economic impacts from this exceptional level of economic growth aswell as from our strengthening relationships with asia (which loosen trade with them) have made that stick of gum cheaper to buy down here compared to up there.

    in short, living standards wise, Australia > US.

    on that cheerful note:

  4. I got:
    * Pulp Fiction T-shirt
    * Beyond Good and Evil (PS2)
    * The Getaway: Black Monday (PS2)
    * Three CDS (Strokes, Regurgitator and Sarah Blasko)
    * Murakami and other cool books.
    * An alarm clock!
    * A full-time job!
    * AND $30!!!!!!!!!!

    YAY NATIONALISM! Anyway, it's simpler than that, if the bubblegum is made in Australia with Australian resources then the relative cost between the USA and Australia will be exactly the same (theoretically) because the cost of labour is always tagged to inflation and currency strength.

    Anyway, Diff was just doing what he does mediocre, no need to respond. But I think he just owned us because we did.

    Quick zephyrs blow, vexing daft Jim.

  5. Why won't anybody in my house get up so I can open my presents?

  6. I made everyone wake up early, whee.

    For me, I got the Pop'n Music 10 + newer small controller pack, a gig of nice DDR RAM (pity its not dual-channel, but whatever, it's a gig of free RAM) and a lot of socks. Yes, I'm happy about the socks. On a more amusing note I made my brother feel really bad because he got everyone (my dad's girlfriend and her three kids) a gift, but forgot me. I did the whole guilt trip thing so I'll get something tomorrow.

    Ah, and I got $65 from my crazy Southern uncle. He rocks.

    My stepsiblings got an insane amount of shit. The 4 year old got one of those rider Hummers, his 8 year old brother got a mini motorcycle, and their 11 year old sister got one of those nutty Schwin electric scooters. That's like, $650 or more in stuff for three gifts o_-

  7. ATI Radeon 9800pro 256meg
    512 DDR2700 Ram
    Signed Nightmare Before Christmas Photograph (Danny Elfman, Tim Burton, Chris Sarandon and Catherin O'Hara, with Certificate of Auth.)
    NBX Jack in A Coffin
    Couple of T-Shirts including an Arnold T.

  8. Metal Gear Solid 3
    Metroid Prime 2
    Prince of Persia 2 (XBOX)
    World of Warcraft (I can see what all the fuss is about now)
    Last Exile volumes 6 and 7
    Yu Yu Hakusho volume 27
    Giant Robo volume 1
    Seinfeld seasons 1,2, and 3
    Gamecube 1019 memory card
    Family Guy DVD series (From girlfriend)
    150 in cash total
    15 bucks in FYE gift card money
    A stocking full of chocolate.

    Holy shit, what a great Christmas haul.

    Yeah I know what you mean man.

    My mom got me a few things here are some "impressions".

    What the box looked like: Mostly squared with nicely wrapped green.

    What I expected: I thought it would be a Nintendo DS because my mom was talking about it. The box felt nice and heavy.

    What it was: A cell phone. I was pleasantly surprised. I never owned a cell phone nor did I have any intention to anytime soon but I'm really happy to have one. It'll save me the hassle of looking around for a phone booth, waiting in line for a phone and saving friend's/work phone numbers for speed dial

    After that I opened up another present with a gift box inside containing a blue sweater, another present was a belt(I actually needed this too since my other "pimp belt") was starting to break, a box of chocolates, and lastly a blue dress shirt good for going out to any formal occasions like interviews and such to maybe even going to a club

    I got my neighbor's mom perfume pack and a fruit smelling lotion and my friend Smackdown: Bring the Pain since I noticed it hit greatest hits.

    For my mom I got her a 40'ish dollar perfume pack that comes with all these moistureizers and such and an alarm clock with soothing sounds, lights and radio.

    Overall a fine Christmas. I already bought the Spiderman 2(special reg edition) DVD and Metal Gear Solid 3 so I'm fine in the gaming/entertainment front.

    Have a Happy Christmas everyone!

    Merry Christmas everyone!

    My brother got a digital camera (bastard) so now I can start posting pictures of all sorts of shit. Like this awesome blanket my girlfriend got me with a huge number 42 on it.

    I also got a
    new cordless phone,
    a sweater and scarf combo from banana republic,
    another sweater,
    RotK Special Extended Edition,
    140 dollars Best Buy Money.

    But it's not quite over yet. I'm going to have at least 400 more dollars towards my comp upgrade by the end of the day, and some more stuff tomorrow.
