Thread: Sega Saturn PC USB pad...

  1. #11
Just a thought, I bet you can take the Hori digital GC pad and use a GC/USB adapter to play on your PC. I'll try that out.

  4. Saturn

    Let's see.

    I use a 3 in 1 PC JOY BOX.
Granted you can only plug in one controller but it does Saturn/PS2/DC.
Works flawlessly...Hell I can even play Gradius Gaiden for the PSX on my laptop with a Saturn pad. Blasphemy

  5. Hey, sorry to bump the thread, but I thought you might like to hear from someone who owns two of these.

There's no lag - I had a saturn back in the day and these things are perfect replicas. I've heard people complain about lag before but in my experience there is none. I use these for emulation and they're perfect for MAME, Shumps and Mega Drive games. They cost a hell of a lot more for sure, but the D-Pad is better than anything else that's around.

  6. Cept for the actual saturn pad + adapter and my firestorm 2 controller.

dude, no. I already posted how these pads aren't the best. The D-pad is just not as good as the Saturn pad. But yeah they sure do cost a hell of a lot more lol

I've been very pleased with my Saitek P880. the pad might look a little odd, but it's perfectly responsive. It's also very comfortable to hold, has 6 face buttons, and is cheaper than most PC controllers out there.

  9. I had a Gravis Eliminator Aftershock that I thoght was pretty good, but something went wrong with it afer a couple months and I exchanged it for a new one, and he D-pad was horribly screwed up, and then every one I've tried since has had a broken, unusable d-pad.

I'll second the Saitek PC controllers. The P220 is only 10 bucks and has 6 face buttons, 2 on top and has a nice D-Pad. They work with all the emu's that I tried it with. Gamestop carries them.
