Vile was in 1 and 3. Plus, in one of the MM Battle Network GBA games, there's a store with a Vile poster hanging on the wall. He also has a small cameo in MM Zero 2 (his sprite appears, but he's not actually a character). And, as Fighter-X was kind enough to point out, he's in X8.What was the last game he was in X2 or X3?

This makes me want to play the game. I thought Vile was badass in X and I forgot about him too, like Fighter, before it was mentionned. I'm playing X7 now, and hating it, and I thought I'd still give X8 a chance. Though the boxart fools you to think that they went back to 2D.

I dont know. I just assumed that the Megaman Series would turn into Megaman X after Megaman 9, and that Megaman X would turn into Megaman Zero after X9. But, I guess if Capcom wanted to they could drag the series out to X 15, 16, or whatever if they wanted to.
