Andrew, those are only two of the outcomes that are possible, but thanks for being a pompous shit. There's also a chance that the DS could win out with a probably quality over quantity mentality taking over, or the PSP could have such a bad launch that it couldn't recover. I went with the two most likely outcomes, but others are obviously possible.

The chart didn't seem to make sense. You know that the PS2 and DS have sold over 1,000,000 units this year. Who was the source for that chart, because it honestly doesn't make any sense as is, so I assume something concerning those numbers was lost in translation.

Yeah, and if it's supposed to be those two seperate weeks then their total, it's even more fucked, because 400 some xboxes one week and 700 some xboxes another does not add up to 30,000 some xboxes.

...so? There are ass-ugly games on every system you could name. They're not indicitive of the system's capabilities. The fact that Asphalt, an N-Gage port and a launch title still looks better than Ridge Racer should clue you in that RR is an ugly game because the devs were lazy, not because of any inherant fault with the DS.

Yeah, Seth, but it wasnt just Ridge Racer that looked like ass.Every game (well now with the exception of the AoS sequel) to be released in the near future looked terrible. Usually when I see screens for a system I expect to be 'wowed' and impressed. I just wasnt.

But with a 2-D blazing Castlevania coming out now for it soon, damn... things may be looking up.I was worried we wouldnt see any more 2-D 'vanias, but I'm glad Konami didnt let us down.This one game alone will guarantee that I will need this thing eventually....

What if the PSP comes out with crap title after crap title? Same thing for the DS.

Personally, I hope they both come out with top notch titles, then maybe I won't wait three years to get my PSP.

I am. Castlevania and FF3 are the only games worth owning it for now. And yeah I know the thing just came out so the library will increase, its just that I hope that library wont mostly consist of crappy looking 3-D games.But I have hope now after seeing the 'vania pics.
