What do you call Darkstalkers Chronicle, then?Originally Posted by SpoDaddy
Yes, just imagine all of those applications. Would you care to explain where someone could get these DS games now?Originally Posted by SpoDaddy
Graphics really aren't the issue you guys are making them out to be on handheld systems. Look at the GBA, it's doing SNES graphics and selling on par with next gen home consoles. Sony hates 2d gaming, that could really kill the PSP for them. Also, for all the talk of the DS being a gimmick, think of all the practical applications for it: A pokemon game that uses the touch screen for just about any sort of interaction with your pokemon, an Advance Wars game that lets you move your units around on the touch screen, football games that let you keep track of the whole field on the bottom screen while you're in the action in 3d on the top, etc. I don't think it's fair to call it a gimmick, connectivity was a gimmick in that it wasn't really needed (you could easily have made Crystal Chronicles 4 player without GBA's).
That said, I don't have any desire to pick up another handheld right now. GBA SP is the perfect handheld, on the go I just want to play fun 2d games.

Darkstalkers is made by Capcom. I don't think Sony even cared especialy since they are really hyping MGS:A and the EA line-up and not really mentioning darkstalkers.Originally Posted by Agent X

For crying out loud...this was one of the first games officially announced for the PSP. Almost every event I've seen has shown this game prominently as a PSP title, including E3, and the PSP press conference yesterday. You're absolutely wrong on this.Originally Posted by toby

All debate aside:
Buy a PSP. Get a DS if you have to, but I can't imagine someone with a DS and not a PSP.
Brought to you by TNL's no.1 Nintendo fanboy. Though someone will strip that badge from me for this...

It's a gimmick if no one applies it properly.
I am not saying it's not hyped, but this is not a highly advertised game by Sony for the PSP. Sony has focused a lot on the EA line-up, The MGS:A( the first PSP game shown in a North american Sony commercial) and Ridge Racer.Originally Posted by Agent X
