I swear I saw the extra scene, but I don't remember anything being said after he saluted. I just realized I missed the show Sunday and caught it Monday, so maybe I didn't see the scene you guys are talking about.

Yeah, it was one of those exclusive scenes they only show after the Sunday premieres, I think.

I agree that the episode seemed largely unnessacary. I'm starting to fear the series has hit its decline, which still makes it better than damn near anything else on tv.

Still, maybe it was just a plot device establishing more about the Saggitaron beliefs for upcoming episodes or something.

Yeah, agreed. Still, I'd like to see more purpose behind the recent episodes.

I kind of hated last night's ep because it was a complete waste of time.

You, know? Im really not minding the "filler" episodes. The characters are all so good , written so well, and are acted to the point where even these are entertaining. I liked this one, although I'm not sure if I buy having Chief and Kaly survive the depressuriaztion of outer space even if it was for 8 seconds or whatever.

Adama was bad-ass in the last episode. Starbuck looks to be the focus of the next episode and it looks interesting.

Hey last night was the first episode I watched on TV! I'm all caught up now. I love this show.

It has been getting slow lately. I bet it's really bad for those of you watching these as they come out. I was hitting 4 or 5 episodes a day sometimes so it hasn't bothered me that much yet. It is interesting that they are dealing with concepts like the establishing class system of a (re)burgeoning civilization. But can't they do that and shoot some Cylons? I'm not looking forward to my first week long wait between episodes
