lots of predicable stuff went down... but they sure move this show along pretty fast.

I'm finally starting to get into the show, at first I was put off because it seemed really melodramatic. But it's very good, better than I thought. Although being a fan of the classic show I can attest to the fact they are the same in name only. But it's the second best show on TV right now, after Dr.who of course.

I watched the original BS Galactica TV series again and decided the new one is markedly better. A whole lot of cheese on the old one and I don't think it's aged all that well.

It depends what you want, if you want light hearted camp than the classic is a great watch and considerably better than some other shows of the day (space 1999 for example). If you want a space opera than yeah the new one is better for you, I personally enjoy them both.

I could never put my finger on it. Back in the day my friend watched it religiously and I could just never get into it, other than the opening theme song which I think is awesome.
