Seriously a lot of my friends were way into this but I couldn't see anything great about it. These long plot arc shows leading up to what's supposed to be this huge ending are all lame imo.

Anyway I was going to eventually give this a chance but with the neg. ending reactions I guess I'll just skip the whole thing. I'd rather waste time on Dr. Who.

What, serials? Some shows do it right. The Wire handles a season/series arc better than anything so you might want to see that (and more recently, Breaking Bad and Mad Men).

For what it's worth, I think the first two and a half seasons of BSG are absolutely worth watching, especially S2.

Totally agree, but Season 1 is the best to me. The series lived off the greatness of its start for years till near the end when the lameness went on too long. I would watch the mini series and season 1 at least, up until the start of New Caprica.

I haven't seen it in a few years but S3 has what could be the best hour of action television ever made. What happened after that (barring a handful of episodes) is a crime.

edit: That Pegasus arc in S2 was pretty rad too.
