I can hardly eat a whole pickle spear without being sick of it by the end.
It sounds kinda weak, admittedly, but it's a bet I can follow through on, one that's punishing, but not so over-the-top that it'd kill me.

Let's say... if Xenon installed base ends up trailing PS3's installed base by more than 10% a year after PS3 launches... US only, not worldwide, mind you.

I think this is the same strategy they were doing with the DS. Make an unique system that will attract new third party franchises. A game like feel the magic can't work so it's stuck on the DS and might as well be an exclusive. If the rev. works so unique games can only work on their console but games can also be ported to your console it's a pretty big buisness.
However they will still lose. There is a huge bias against nintendo and the heatred against the company will force them out of the hardware race.
