Because Nintendo is doing it, and they fuck up every piece of hardware they make.

I bought my first GC this month and I personally love it. I don't understand how they "fucked up" with this console.

Again you didn't answer why your basing your opinion on buying their new console off rumours.

Shit game selection (about one half of the Xbox's and one quarter of the PS2's), no online play and no available hard drive.

I'm not basing wether or not I will buy it of anything, ever. I know I'm going to buy it because deep down I enjoy Nintendo games, and that will be the only way to continue playing certain titles.

But I'd wager it will be the shittiest system out there next generation.

It will be crap because of the controller. I don't care how impressive the games look, if they screw up the controller worse than the GC one, it's gonna be another one (ok, 5) hit wonder. I wish them the best of luck, but it just ain't gonna happen.
