You can't have a standard controller worth its salt without the A&B buttons. D-Pads do come in handy even if they're not used for movement- there's the Yes/No response and the orders you give in Ace Combat 5, and inventory controls in XIII.

Who still makes fighting games worth playing?

Arc System Works and Namco certainly do. There's bound to be a new Virtua Fighter sometime as well- VF4 Final Tuned still needs a port.

The new controller wont be a controller at all but a helmet. Its the next big thing! You use your brain waves to attempt to move your character and then the helmet protects your head when you bash it against the wall for buying another dumbass Nintendo innovation.

Thats the ONLY thing that I hope gets changed on the PS3 controller. Just flipping the D-pad and analog stick around is just fine. Do it Sony! Dont fuck with anything else! Also dont fuck around too much with the button layout for XBox 2 Microsoft!
