DDR with Mario

Well, at least it's an official DDR game. I'm not sure if that's anything to be proud of though...

The bottom screenshot looks like it might be a powerpad/"track meet" kind of minigame.

The game will still be fun. they haven't made one really bad mario sports game. However i am not putting this on my christmas list.

so that brings the GC dance game total to 2, DDR Mario, and Mc Groovs. Redoctane's pads are going to have to start coming with three outputs.

There would be no problem with this game if it was only this game...but when you take all of the Mario games that Nintendo puts out that have nothing to do with Mario and combine them, it makes you roll your eyes when another one comes along.

And really the mario graphics/theme don't bother me. I think DDRing to mario tunes would be kinda' cool. But I have a feeling that everything is going to be so easy that it won't be worth it for anybody but beginners. We'll see. If there's a healthy number of 8 and 9 footers, I might give it a rent.....

Yeah, I agree. The thing I would complain about is the difficulty level, as it's likely to be easy. But really, I would rather play this than DDR (all other things, like difficulty, being equal), Mario Tennis over any tennis video game out there, Mario Kart over any "slow paced" racer out there, etc. The Mario theme sells. People are always knocking Nintendo for making stupid business decisions, but this is probably one of the smartest ones they could make.

This is a double-edged sword though. This decision is smart fiancially,but Nintendo will get flamed from a lot of people for rehashing mario. Nintendo can't win
