I enjoyed The Ring and I think this preview shows some promise. I think my main concern is just that the child actors do their parts well.

Which version do you recommend I see first? I heard Ringu is scarier but with a smaller budget, kind of like The Grudge.

You've clearly never seen Ringu 2. It's pretty awful, and all of the good or interesting elements were put in The Ring anyway, so remaking it would be redundant.
