New Trailers - Alone in the Dark, Cursed, and more

Well, We start with the latest from Uwe Boll

Surprisingly, some of the fx looked decent enough. Otherwise it will be an adventure on the level of House of the Dead

Next is Wes Craven's return to horror genre. This time it is Scream with Werewolves, aka Cursed:

Thanks for the links Despair.

Surprisingly those special effects for Alone in the Dark do look better than the last preview I saw, but I think you're right in that it will still be a hurtin flick.

Cursed looks a little too similar to Ginger Snaps with the "teen gets bit by werewolf while in highschool schtick",but hey, we havent seen a big screen werewolf movie in a while, and they're usually pretty fun to watch so cant complain.

Elektra looks like it could be pretty cool.As long as the fight scenes dont do the spastic flash thing so you cant see what the hell is going down.Hoping for the best.And while seeing her in red lingerie is hot, I just dont know if it works for a world famous assassin in a real movie like it does for the comics.Maybe if she just kept the black robe on...wouldnt be any fun... but it looks cooler...and they could make up lack of skin airtime with a skinny dip or good fuck scene later in the movie ( shyeah, right

That's wacky. Well, at least they are trying to get the word out. As long as its not advertised as a videogame movie, people might stay interested.Otherwise it may fall into the stigma of a crap Resident Evil style flick with the masses,,,,,,which it probably is anyway in all honesty.

the one fight was all close-cut and shit. Hopefully the rest of them aren't like that.

Ok, I've seen the "Alone" trailer enough to believe that Uwe Boll really really really wanted to make an Aliens movie.

Nothing's been made of the fact that Alone in the Dark is a videogame in the advertising. Probably because most people would be like, "Huh? Never heard of it."

Here's hoping Alone is even half the laugh-fest that House of the Dead was.
