24 Official Thread of the New Season

Ok, finally got to watch 2nd half of the Monday's episode last night. And came to conlusion that I missed out on more retarded happenings. So here we go.

I have to ask - HOW THE FUCK could Marwan's men get to the Military convoy THAT FAST. He got code and truck location only less than ONE HOUR ago, and they were able to intercept it SOMEWHERE IN DEEP ILLINOIS????

Marwan used his SUPER jeep to hype-rjump back into LA, again BEFORE Jack and helicopter.

Oh my, bold jewish lawyer from Sex in the City pops up as a slimy jewish lawyer protecting the criminal. I was expecting Jack knock out the guy, as he was going rogue, but he just drove away. Was he driving Lexus too?

Whole CTU cant TORTURE the guy routine !!! I was laguhing hard. Whole season they were torturning ONLY innocent people, and now they not allow the torture ACTUALLY A BAD GUY!!! Oh my god

Jack had to go AWOL so viewers can get their every 2 weeks dose of torture.

Big Puffy Angry Edgar made my day !!!! I mean his lines were the best "I wish I could spent 2 minutes with that guy in the holding room !!!! I would make him talk and pay for what he did to my mom !!!"

First, Edgar, guy is EX MARINE, you are over weight computer nerd. Unless guy will be cuffed to the wall, he will KICK YOUR ASS. Second, how about blaming US GOVERMENT and your superiors for not ablitiy or even WILLINGNESS to help to evacuate your mother. I am sure if she was of more important status, Jack would have been on rescue team, searching through nuclear fallout.

Chole was in the game as well. He retoric with Edgar was pure CTU soap, and bad soap at that. Please DONT RENEW contracts for this 2. Let them go and continue their tv/movie careers elsewhere.

So, Jack does some finger breaking, and finds out that Marwan will be hanging out in the Night club in LA. Ok, with soo many friggin things happening today, especially in LA, with RIOTS, Power Plant metdowns, AF1 blow up, Pres almost dead, gunfights in LA downtown area, and Night club still open and serving???

And I really hope that its not the same club that Tony future ex girfriend is working.

And as I asked in the reivew for the 1st half of the hour. WHERE THE FUCK IS BEROOZ??

Anyway, next week we lear tha Pussy Logan will send his Secret Service dogs after Jack, Palmer will be back to Pussy Whip Logan into the place, and some shit will blow up. Probably yet another of Marwan's booby trapped hideaways, which he will leave right in time to escape Jack and CTU.

I've mentioned before that the show's creator, Joel Surnow, lives near me and our kids go to school together. Last night, there was an arts festival at the local high school, and Joel was giving a presentation on 24. People didn't start trickling in until late, and since he knew my wife and I, we got to have a 1-on-1 discussion with him about the show. A few of the more interesting tidbits:

-the original idea was for a real-time comedy taking place over the course of a single day, e.g., a wedding.

-after watching the pilot episode, the network hated the actress playing Chloe and wanted her fired.

-the network also originally wanted Jeff Goldblum to play Jack Bauer. (Real-time comedy indeed.)

-Joel readily conceded that many of the plot elements are way over-the-top.(I won't bore you with the details, but he talked extensively about the demands and constraints of putting a show like this together.)

-24 has been picked up for a 5th season. (This tied in to the discussion about the over-the-top plot, with Joel commenting to the effect of "yeah, I know, how many 'bad days' on this order of magnitude can Jack really have?")

A pretty interesting discussion overall. Most interesting to me was that Surnow comes across as a genuinely humble guy.

Too bad Chloe actree didnt get the axe.

As for the wedding, they kinda used that subplot in the Season 2, with Mary Warner (it was the name of the younger sister, right?), and poor Raza the suspected terrorist.

The season is completely redeemed in my eyes for Chloe going all apeshit at the end.

Oh my, yet another filler episode but with the action twist at the end

Now, allow me to cover everything that had happened in the past hour.

After Jack is done with his little finger breaking session with poor mr Prado, CTU scouring around, to find enough men willing to go to the Night Club takedown party. Jack and Curtis take command, and CTU force sets off in the direction of the night club.

As it was mention above, Prado is chilling at CTU's medical facility, being served and treated by hot looking Nurse. That should help him with the pain with both his hand and personal rights violated.

Pussy Logan and Mike Novick, are in the heat of the debate if they should torture this poor US Citizen or not. I guess CTU has failed to mention to the old, and for sure to the new President staff, that they had already tortured TWO !!!!! thats right TWO US CITIZENS, both of which WERE INNOCENT, and one is SON of secretary of Defense Heller (even though Heller did authorized his son's torture, I believe that President would have had to say something about it). The whole issue with Bitchy Sarah, should come back and bite CTU in the ass hard, as while she was a bitch, she was violated by CTU, and then simply kicked out. I am sure that there will be some lawyers knocking on CTU doors come next few days.

Anyway, back to the original thread, Logan just can't make a decision on what to do with Prado, and after Novick talks to Buchanan, and gets info that Marwan's location was found by CTU, he reveals that to agitated Logan. Logan gets pissed and screams to have Jack's balls on the silver platter. I was laughing hard, as he was screaming in his whiny voice, "I am President of USA !!!! No one can disobey me !!!!!!"

I liked how Buchanan wanted Novick to deceive Locan, for what Novick replied that he already deceived one president before, and doesnt want to do the same mistake twice

Good reference to the Season 2.

So, against the advice of Novik, Logan sends his Special Service boys to round up Jack. Novick calls Buchanan, and warns him about action against Jack. CTU command knows that they FINALLY did the right thing, and tortured CORRECT suspect

, so they willing to cover for Jack.

Meanwhile in the on the farm in deep Iowa, Marwan's team is busy taking apart and verifiying the stolen nuke. I guess Marwans recruitment compaign offerent great pay and benefits, since most of the the group consisted of farmer like white boys, and not bearded arabic men

I guess 24's writers want to show the viewers, that not only arabs want to kill us, but our own citizens will be willing to do the same for the right sum of money. We get to meet head of the operation, Morriss, and then one of the techs gets a call from a distraught and suspicious girlfriend. I guess she went snooping around his laptop, and the guy was not too careful of covering his porn and exremist website viewing habits. She quickly puts two and two together, and starts nagging to him in the middle of the night, and while he disarming/confirming the bomb

That moment confirmed my fears, or my clarvoyance that CTU will once again loose Marwan in the coming few minutes, and this will become THE ONLY MOST IMPORTANT LEAD !!!. Morris is not happy about personal phone calls on the job

, and promises to Marwan, that he will take care of the situation.

Jack gets inside the night club, wearing his choice of Neon Light / Dirty Floor camo

, hides in the back room, and starts playing around with radio controlled moving camera :P While he goes through the the order of the rooms, he stumbles on the VIP orgy going on in the next room, to the area where Marwan giving this "I am the Great Evil Mummy Speach". Nah, unfortunately that never happens, or we will have to wait for unrated cut of Season 4

Jack does discover the secret storage room/ broadcasting facilty where Marwan is indeed is giving the speach.

Agents Dumb and Dumber from US Secret Service arrive to the clube parking lot, where rest of the CTU strike force hangs around, and demands that Bauer come out from the building with his hands up. Normal logic that CTU is in the middle of the extremely anti terrorist operation doesnt fly, so agent Castle has to run through the open parking lot, wearing FULL ASSAULT GEAR, while pretending his is just a regualt club patron. He only makes it few feet, when he is spotted by Marwan sentry, and triggers elaborate terrorist escape. Jack gets to score one kill this hour (better than none last hour, Jack was really slacking off), before terrorist escape through the whole in the world and conviniently blow up the tunnel behind them. Since CTU is totally inept, they are easily escape, but I wondering where did rest of Marwan men go later on, when you see him climbing out of the sewer. When they went in, he had about 5 men with him, plus one got shot outside. Did they got lost in the sewers? or giant alligators or mysterious mole people attacked them while underground?

Jack comes out of the building, and quickly cuffed and stuffed into SS car. He is very pissed off about SS interference, and tells appologizing SS agent. With Marwan's ANOTHER escape, CTU is officially without the lead. Pussy Logan realizes his huge fuck up, and almost goes into crying fit. I was waiting for him scream "Mommy" at any time. He confides to Novick, that he has no idea on what to do, and Novick, has the solution. Bring David Palmer back into the game.

Palmer who apparently spend last year or so selling insurance, while not enjoying his part as ex president, is up and awake, watching late night Fox news. Novick quickly lays the situation, and Palmer agrees to have quick face to face meeting with Logan.

At the CTU "NERD WARS" !!! are heating up. Chloe is pissed off that Edgar wasting "valuable" computer resource, playing around with Tactics, and that he got the Admin rights over her

She rans to Tony, and squeels that Edgar is not helping her. Tony gets on Edgars case, and Chloe gets what she wants.

But once she finds out about the fact that terrorist boyfriend laptop is indeed has schematics for Nuke Warhead circuitry, she gets an important task. Since she is THE BEST as she claims, she has to go to the field op. Oh my, Chloe shits her pants in fear. I loved that scene !!!!

She is paranoid about going in, and makes Edgar ro set up all that surverliance and communication protocols and promise to watch here every step. She and 2 CTU agents arrive to the Suspicious Girlfriend house, and Chloe introduces herself and two agenst with her. This is agents: Dead and Dead

They get inside, and girls engage in geek talk about the computer algorithms and protocols, since suspicious girfriend not only suspicious, but also Phd of Computer Science. Bam Bam, CTU looses 2 more inreplaceable employees, as The Terminator gets in the kill Chole O'Brien !!!!

Chloe and girfriend barricade themselves in the laudry room, and watch the door being shoot into pieces. Chloe screams for CTU support, but as always CTU is inept in everything other then torturing wrong people. So girls have to use window to escape. They get into CTU car, but there are no KEYS !!!!. And Terminator is right outside the window. Good thing that CTU cars come in bulletproof flavor, as assassin keeps shooting car until he runs out of ammo in his gun. Then he gets a trusty shotgun, and continues working the CTU SUV. Still car holds, so assassin turns away and starts walking to his car. One of the scared women yells "OMG !!! He is Leaving !!!". But thats not the case. Chloenator is just getting into his car, so he can ram the suv. After couple of loud rams, one of the neighbors, who apparently didnt notice multiple loud gunshots and shotgun blasts, but was disturbed but the sound of crashing cars runs out, and starts yelling at Chloenator. Not a smart move, as he quickly added to the list of dead extras.

Tony finally is able to give Chloe the code key for suv weapon locker, and Chloe emerges out of the suv ASSAULT RIFLE BLASTING in true Sarah Connor fashion !!!

And thats the end. Come again next week

You cant watch or take this show seriosly anymore, and just enjoy the campy ride, and wait and see what next ridicilous thing will happen.

and my final question of the day: WHERE THE FUCK IS BEROOZ !!!!!!
