I've been out of the gaming loop for quite a bit so is this still a PS3 exclusive or will it inevitably just land on Xbox 360?

As for the bosses looking out of place, I think if anything Vamp is the worst. He's just a loose end from MGS2 to have deal with Raiden in a cool cut scene. Something interested me in one of the trailers though, in the scene where the soldiers are struggling with the FOXDIE in their system, one soldier in particular looks pretty resistant to it and tries to get to Meryl.

Could he be some aged version of Olga's son or something?

Still supposedly a PS3 exclusive just like Bioshock is still supposedly a 360 and PC exclusive.

I don't believe either of em.

Maybe the boss coward duck will make a surprise appearance in the game too. I think he was the weirdest one in the first metal gear on the nes.

This is a series with bosses that include a guy called The Machinegun Kid, Bloody Brad, a gay vampire and a fat exploding man on rollerskates.

I didn't like any of those guys either. Being better than them does not automatically take these guys to the lofty goal of decent.

I liked the gameplay, the boss fights (not the characters), and even the story, but alot of the boss characters from MGS2 and 3 always bored me at best.

In contrast, I found the bosses in MGS1 pretty cool.

But it's crazy to say that Psycho Mantis is any more plausible than Fortune or Vamp or The End. I think they're about equal on their levels of absurdity/stupidity/what have you. I don't particularly dislike any of them.

No it isn't. There are loads of people who believe psi powers actually exist. Whether they do or not doesn't really matter in this context; the fact that there's debate makes disbelief much easier to suspend than it is for things almost no-one believes in.
