AICN rumor has it that he just might be playing Sandman since supposedly Sandman sketch concepts were seen about.

I'm a bit disappointed to hear this but hopefully Sam will make Sandman a cooler villain with better representation and personality than the comics. I'm also hoping that he closes out with the whole Goblin thing so 2 possible villains isn't out of the question since I don't know how the movie can bank on Sandman alone.

Just something kinda stupid I noticed, but the villain's in Spiderman 2 (Alfred Molina), and Spiderman 3, (Thomas Haden Church), also played the villain's in those two Brendan Fraser cartoon movies, George of the Jungle and Dudley Do-Right.
