had trouble getting the colors right after scanning with this pic. For the first two, I just scanned them and did almost no editing. Maybe it was different this time because the pic is darker. Anyways, the guy with the stick + the birds= all of the elements in the first story. I need to do more research on birds though =|

Nope. I still have one more year of school to go, so I need to get something going before graduation comes. =\

You're a very good illustrator, but I think your compositions could use some work.

Like the cloud/smoke thing on the left of the first one is awkward and the bottom of the second one doesn't work at all and should be cropped about 2 inches from the bottom. Also in the bird pic I'd like to see more of the farthest left wing, the way it's cropped makes it look less like a wing and more rounded. But other than that, excellent sense of color and line.

You're right about the tree. I may just pull an exacto knife and cut it off. I like the bird's cropped wing though. If I was going to find a problem with the composition in that one, it may be how close the bird on the right comes to the top of the page, as well as the fact that I ... didn't really do any bird research before drawing it(that's more to blame for the wing looking rounded, I think. You can spot a lot of other screw ups in the birds besides that)

I used the computer to see what the tree pic would look like without the bottom and to see what the bird pic would look like with more sky on top. In conclusion, computers are useful devices. =|
