You can watch the trailer for it there, and it fucking rocks. The song that plays during it is just awesome. I love love love the Fantastic Four comics so I am quite excited for this, and it looks to be pretty dern faithful. Plus Chikilus rules and will do an awesome job as Ben Grimm.

Anyway I saw it, liked what I saw but it could go either way. I think the Thing looks better with the whole costume on (FF pants and boots) since the boots make him a bit taller. Johnny is really close to the comic books looks and the way he acts, Jessica as Susan Storm doesn't bother me anymore, she should be good. I'm just a bit iffy on Mr. Fantastic. Doom looks pretty badass but I hope they don't ham him up too much.
The beginning of the trailer with the "4 life" thing or whatever that was looked kind of amatuer'ish for a trailer but its well put together despite that.
It looks ok; The Thing doesn't look good, but he doesn't look horrible either I suppose.

The thing does look a bit like the character Concrete more than Thing, but I think it looks pretty good. Its a guy made of bright orange rock, its going to be hard to make it not look kind of odd. I think the only thing that makes him look odd is the forehead, no big ol' brow.
Oh and I could not find that thread because I just searched "Fantastic Four" did no relise it had blarb about "Barber Shop director to direct..." before it.

It could be good. I hope Dr. Doom is done well. I think it's a real challenge to have a film character deliver lines through a mask like that without being a bit cheesy.

Meh,the Thing should look like a big walking, ass-kicking rock,Not a walking blob of puked up candy corn or something.Fuck not being able to see Chikulus' acting through his face(which is why I heard the Thing wasnt CG). Thing SHOULD have been CG, the way Gollum was in Lord of the Rings. Chikilus could've been the frame for the character while wearing the blue suit (or whatever the hell its called) with special effects superimposed on his body.
And while Jessica Alba is smokin, Elisha Cuthbert would have made the perfect Sue Storm (someone here mentioned it in the other thread,and it was a really good fit).
Those gripes aside, its too late for them to fix the movie now.All we can do is sit-back and hope its not a trainwreck.

I think they should've been "clever" and made all the pictures of the Invisible Woman on the webpage empty shots of streets and buildings.
I don't expect it to be great though I'll be seeing it regardless.
