Ok, I'm making a buget adjustment so I'll most likely join in on friday.

What I'm worried about is the number of people who mostly pick shoto characters and I shouldn't have to deal with playing the same type on a repeated basis. Is the ratio for everyone else pretty good (like Oro, Twelve, Ibuki etc etc)?

nope~i play Makato most of the time...and i switch to Alex...everyone else seems to play shotos...i have notice certain kinds of players.

Chun li scrubs.
Hugo Jump wiffers.

its annoying at times.but gratifying when i see throught there play styleand murder them.you can look for me on 3s.Makato is waiting.

Well I use chun li quite a bit so I guess I've got scrub status. Thankfully Ibuki is my backup, plus Mokoto is getting some practice.

I'm giving Alex some thought as I used to play him when SF3 first came out.

i not saying your scrub cus you use chun li...its just that everyone i have played that uses chun plays her the exact same way...just waiting for c,m to super....except for Bahn(who owned me by the way) eveyone else bee predictable.So i usually use Alex against most chun player..they don't seem to know what to do with rush elbow pressure game.its very gratifying...i usually have a big grin on my face when i win

I was hoping that wasn't used much, I have a few other suprises in mind so I hope something different works.

Can you get that rush elbow to somehow end to a choke/flying ddt combo? I've had the hardest time getting the pattern down and beginning to think it's impossible.

When you're in close with Alex, best thing to do is a standing strong or a standing medium. From there you can combo an EX flash chop, an EX knee grab (the ex hits grounded opponents), or even a boomerang raid.

The flying DDT sucks ass, it's slow and you can just duck it. I never use that move.

Havent played any fighters much less SF2 or 3 in a while, but I'll probably pick this up at work tomorrow. I'm glad there isnt a whole lot of lag, and that factor alone will be the driving point to me getting this.

So NOONES had lag on the level of CVS2 in this unless they get on a slow server, or whatnot? If no, then a bunch of you who dont already have it,and those that do will be getting some friend invites from me tomorrow night.

I look forward to actually playing people who dont use JUST shoto characters for a change,and it sounds like a lot of you are pretty diverse in your pickings. I've never played against anyone who uses Makoto,Chun Li,or Urien,etc. so it should be fun-
