I had a couple of good (lag-free, woot!) matches with JBNagis last night. He said that he hasn't seen anyone else play with Makoto, so I'm glad that I offered him something different from the shoto-fest he normally gets.

I just can't hold a conversation and play Street Fighter at the same time. I was talking with JBNagis about getting the Communicator to work with X-Arcade, and next thing I knew, my Ryu was playing horribly while I was stammering and saying "um" a lot. If you're losing against me, just ask me a question. You'll win the round in no time.

Unfortunately, JBNagis had to quit during our Ryu vs. Ken match. I wanted to see if I could come back and win two straight after losing the first round. Still, good times.

Bahn, at what speed do you think it's best to play Hyper online? Turbo 2 or Turbo 3?

I was picking makoto for awhile and had a pretty funny mind game doing that dash punch of hers.

I did manage to get at least 1 win last nite (with elena non the less). From what I gather, my main reason for losing all the time must come from my offense game cause it's really leaving me open.

Plus, you don't block enough

I have been INHALING people with my Super Turbo E.Honda. It took me like 5 different people last night til' I got someone willing to try me again. Mainly because I would fuckin' destroy them first match with E.Honda and they would quit. It sucked, but was also satisfying. Eventually a dude took me on and found out the truth, that I can win with E.Honda, but am not amazing or anything with anyone else. And thus we had fun.

I fucking love E.Honda, love him.

Bahn: No prob, I figured you were playing with someone else. At first I was in Hyper and tried sending an Invite and then thought maybe you were in 3s so went there and sent an Invite. I did not know it did not matter which game you were playing. Ended up playing 3s and Hyper with Jetman Jay for quite a while.

Bahn~coming from you...that is a huge compliment.thanks alot.I will be getting a brand new phone line strictly for DSL.The wireing in my spot is kind of old...so hopefully the new line will help out.i will be on every now and than from now till tomarrow. Alot of my time is spent on Monster Hunter :P

P.S. The PS2 online service...REALLY needs to update there stuff to be more like XBL.cus right now....its garbage.

Yeah, Last night had a lot of good lag-free matches with Clash. He has the honor of being the first person I've ever seen or played who uses Q efficiently.
(ie. he started whupping up on my crap Dudley a couple of times).Like I said though ,for most of my matches with Clash Master, I dont think we had any lag, but I played a Twelve vs.Twelve fight against a guy after Clash left that would pause for seconds during hectic battles. For the most part I'm impressed though.
And you guys werent kidding about the Shoto players - I usually rotate who I pick each round, but Ill be damned if I dont get 3 or 4 people in a row who just pick Ryu,Ken,Akuma - How in the hell can that be fun playing the same style character over and over like that? Dont they know they look like scrubs when it shows they cant diversify into other characters?

Oh, I also got beat down by some cheap Makoto tactics I've never seen before - I guess I should've been pissed, but I dont usually play against any other characters so I'll say I was impressed.
If I can keep from falling asleep tonight, I'll be on later ....

And I dont think I have you on my list JBNagis,but you'll go on it when I play next.

Doesn't really matter to them honestly, and in tournament play (yes I realize online gaming is an entirely different category), you'll see shoto usage in droves. I've just learned to accept it after spending so much time in the arcades.

I'll be logging on in a bit and depending on who's on -- I MAY roll with some 3s tonight. Otherwise I am sticking to Hyper.

Just played Sl1p (in Hyper) and he is by far the best on TNL I've played so far. The rest of ya need to step it up.
