Man, it's hard finding the SF Anniversary Stick in stores. I have one more shot tomorrow, but if it's not there, I'll have to wait until EBGames order some new ones. Chances are that won't happen, but I really don't want to go the eBay route.
So I did some research to learn how is to modify the Anniversary Stick with some Happ parts. Turns out that it's a lot more complicated than replacing the parts of an X-Arcade. Boy, this is going to be an expensive and time-consuming endeavor. pwned.

Well the guide does not make it seem that hard. And an extra $26.95 ain't too expensive. I may try it in the future, so far I have not had much problems. But I am pretty sure I will need a new Stick at some point unless I can get better at doing Dragon Punches in Hyper. I can do them just fine in 3s however.Originally Posted by Cowdisease

I wonder if this was the guy I was teasing the other day.![]()
"Your soul better belong to Jesus, mmm-mmmmm..... cause your ass belongs to me!"
So I was owning this dude's Ken with Ibuki, parrying all his wake-up shoryukens. He was a really bad and predictable Ken.
He runs away, throws a hadoken.
I parry.
He throws an EX hadoken. I parry both hits.
The connection has been lost.

I was whooping Mzo's ass so bad he dropped!
Just kidding man, that was great fun. Send me another Invite when you get a chance.
Time for a change
I don't know... I got this game right when it came out, expecting to bask in my past glories, and I totally suck. I can't even get through the game on Very Easy. I can't win one round online. But I still love playing it, for sure.
This is probably a stupid question, but can you invite someone on your firends list who's online at the same time? I seem to remember being able to do this in CvS2, but can recall how.
Just got done playing a batch of matches with Mzo. He is better than I, despite my early winnings, periodic winnings through out. I got lucky I figure. I need to learn more moves for more characters, he was pumeling me with Oro one round and I relised I did'nt know anything at all for him. I need to spend some time in training.

This has been answered several times in this thread, but I'll go ahead and answer it anyway because I'm in a good mood.Originally Posted by Yamcha
After you log in to Xbox Live, create a session (or party, I forget which one at the moment), but before you do, make sure you set your opponents settings to "Friends Only". Otherwise, random people will come and play you. Then press the Start button after you create your session and go to your friends list. When you select a friend, you'll have the option to send them an invite. You should send a voice message to your friend saying what game you're playing, so that they can switch to the right one to challenge you.
It's a stupid, unintuitive process that should have been rectified (and made Live aware) after people complained about the CvS2 lobby. It would have been nice to let other Xbox Live people know that I'm in Training mode in SFAC. Stupid Capcom.
In other news, I managed to pick up one of the last SFAC sticks in my area. It's really nice. Next stop, Happ's website to order some authentic arcade parts. By the way, the bottom of the stick has a compartment to store away the controller cable. It even has a station to wind your controller cable. Awesome!
