I have been playing 3S alot recently. Im still sick of people who pick the same character everytime. 90% of the people i play pick either Ryu or Akuma everytime. How in the world can that be fun? Especially when these people have 100s of matches under their belt. Im not the greatest SF player in the world but at least trying out all the characters, trying to give these dudes a hint to maybe switch it up. oh well...

I have never played anyone online yet that has chosen Q. I pick him right off the bat and people fall for his first super move everytime. I love it.

I actually met a player who refused to play me cause he said my "record sucks". He was one of those 3000 wins out of 3030 matches players. He declined my challenge like 6 times in a row - what an ass.

It's because he's a true champion and he didn't want you to tarnish his record. Heh, yep -- I'd say he was definitely an assclown. Sad thng is, there are PLENTY of others just like him...and most of them even pull.

Anyways, if you expect people to switch up just because they're playing online for free, you're going to be in for a world of disappoinment. So you either have to roll with it; limit your player base to say, the forum community here, or give up entirely.

I just played Strider on one of the worst connections I've ever had in 3rd Strike D= I pretty much gave up on parrying early on, but it was pretty gruesome. He's pretty good with a pad, he knows what he's doing.

I wonder if you noticed a lot of me standing there getting hit, it was driving me crazy, sorry I quit on you.

WTF?

Because he won 75% of his matches (or higher) and played over 1000 games. I am an SS on Hyper too.

I just enjoyed a nice, lag-free hour of Hyper and TS, and to my amazement, I actually won quite a bit.
