2-in-1's work by canceling a move with another move before the original move ends. At the moment when a cancelable attack hits your opponent, you must complete the motion for another move.

I'm sure you are already familiar with the classic crouching forward -> fireball combo. Well the combos you describe need to be executed a lot faster because the duration of those moves being cancelable is very, very short.

In the case of fireball -> super, you've already completed one quarter-circle, so you just need to press another quarter-circle + P quickly to execute the combo. For dragon punch -> super, you must complete the super motion at the first hit of the dragon punch (since that hit is cancelable) - otherwise, you'll execute the entire dragon punch. Commit some hours to training and work on pulling off the moves quickly.

You gotta see how I go awol on 2-in-1's into supers sometimes, someone here can confirm that.

What do you want to know? In the air use either the 2 hit roundhouse or the strong -> towards+fierce air chain to fuck up people that parry jump ins. On the ground do a crouching strong into anything ever. It can cancel into a super and still hit from its maximum range. The most awesomem Elena combo is crouching strong -> that backwards hadoken EX kick -> EX rhino horn -> EX or jab scratch wheel (you'll be facing the other way).

She has a huge throw range that is made even bigger with her easy kara (towards+forward cancelled into the grab).

Yeah I just played an 0-6 newbie who kept getting lucky using low jap/strong patterns. Mokoto is so useless against her sometimes.

Makoto can't do jack shit against Ibuki it seems. I think it was Mzo I was playing and it was just a crouching kick poke fest and I could not do jack shit to land hits out side of supers.

ha, yeah, Ibuki can fuck Makoto all up with that sliding kick. It'll cancel out her dash punch thing every time. Jumping straight up like you started doing in the 2nd round works well.

BTW, if anyone wants a challenge play JohnNiner (Darmonde here at TNL). I'll be at his place in Chicago until Sunday, so if you play me we'll probably switch off or something. I haven't really played seriously since high school 6 or so years ago (7? damn!), but he's into the Chicago scene and pretty damn good.
