I'm up to season 3 watching this on DVD now, and it just keeps getting better. Surely someone else is watching this out there.
Did anyone catch Numb3rs after the AFC Championship last night? I thought it was great, as I can get my head around what he was doing much better than some of the leaps of logic that are made on CSI. For anyone who didn't see it, it is about an FBI agent and his brother, who is a math professor. The professor uses math to determine patterns in crimes that may be lost to the human eye/mind. It's a very cool concept, especially for someone who does relatively advanced math almost every day at work.![]()

I really loved this show for most of the first season. I'm not really sure why I stopped watching it but once I missed a few I just never went back. Maybe one of these days I'll snatch up the DVDs since I was a really big fan of the math approach.
I always mean to watch this show but haven't, it's absolutely great everytime I watch it though. It's mainly because I don't watch TV that much, this, Life, Burn Notice are some of the few shows I actually enjoy from start to Finish.
This show is a victim of my "don't start watching the dvd's until the show is off the air" policy.
I'm absolutely interested, though.
This show is a standout. The problem is it isn't really a standout to anyone who traditionally likes crime drama's. The math theme is automatically intimidating and the approach isn't going to help the show. It's a standout in that there aren't a whole lot of stupid EUREKA moments and the writing is top notch. I'll watch CSI: Miami and see 10 or 15 of them in a single act, but that's expected from a CSI. I question some of the acting, but overall it's pretty par for the course as 1 hour dramas go.
Maybe a victim of being too smart for a general viewing audience. (although 3 seasons says otherwise maybe)
Still, something isn't compelling me to hunt for the show. I don't know why, and I don't feel that guilty about it (like I kind of did about Arrested Development when it was on).

I'm glad Peter MacNicol's is back. I mean when he left for 24 last year the show kinda suffered. So for anyone who missed last season its not as awesome as this season. This season has been freaking unreal. Season 4 is one of the best so far.
I like Criminal Minds too.
