Damn Stranger was good. It's one of the top 5 games this generation, easily.
see my understanding was that yes it's true the Oddworld series was not dead, but in the sense that it is the vehicle they'll use to switch media. i was pretty sure they're done with games.Originally Posted by Videodrone

Just move on, no more Oddworld games.
Sucks that EA buried this game, man I hate EA.
how did EA bury it? its not like there would have been more publicity or advertising had it just been Oddworld producing it (or another company), nor would it have sold any more. wasn't mortal kombat the cool thing last year with omfg and kano?
True. It's hard to get pissed at EA for publishing this game after MS bailed on it. Between Stranger's Wrath and Psychonauts, MS managed to ditch two of the best games appearing on its console. Then again, both games sold poorly, IIRC, so maybe their decision was justified on the business side. Regardless, I don't fault EA when it actually bothers to publish good games.Originally Posted by Dragonmaster Dyne

did psychonauts sell poorly? anyone have any numbers for it? i know it was not a million seller, but i thought it did well enough to be considered successful.
oh and strangers wrath was a really good game, i passed it over thinking it was not my style of game, and a friend bought it and i had a blast with it, top 5 of this year easily.

This game was one of my favorite games from last gen, it kills me that it didn't sell well because I love oddworld games.
