In other words: Bungie needs to release a Halo game every year for Xbox to be profitable.

You'll note: "sustained profitablity in 2007," which would imply either A: Halo games will constantly be coming out at this time or B: The Xbox line of games and systems will be inherantly profitable by this time so Halo isn't nessisarily needed to get them "over the hump" anymore. I doubt they expected to make a profit this last quarter to begin with.

Sorry, misinterpreted it. I thought it said they wouldn't be profitable the next time until 2007.
