Braveheart
Gandhi
Blazing Saddles (comon, it's about freedom)

Mohandas Gandhi - - - - William Wallace
Both men were revolutionaries, one's revolution was nonviolent, the other's was... well, violent. They each fought against the oppression of the powerhouse known as Britain (of which I'm 1/2) toward their people (which makes up my other 1/2). Both of these films portrayed the men perfectly, capturing the definitions of freedom and sacrifice, each transfixing the audience and each dominating the Academy Awards of that year. The movies are exact opposites as they are identical twins.
So which one is better?

If you go by the historical story it’s impossible to compare. Gandhi’s non-violent protest wouldn’t have gone over well with the Scotts, but on the same hand Wallace’s war would have fallen apart within the melting pot of India.
Aesthetically, the movies are both near equal. They're beautifully shot (both won Oscars) and masterfully scored (both nominated).

I love both. But I have to go with Braveheart, primarily because I'm Irish and secondly because King Edward is such a damn good villain.

I'll go with Braveheart because I haven't seen Ghandi yet.
