Thread: Simpsons Season Six Hitting in June

  1. Simpsons Season Six Hitting in June

It looks like they're sticking with one release every six months, which is astounding. Hopefully, the date sticks - http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=2823

One thread for all Simpsons DVD releases might be too much to ask, but can you shoot for one per release?

  3. It was a simple typo, something that would have been evident had you clicked on the link. I thought I rectified it rather quickly, I guess I was wrong. Nice snide comment, man.

  5. Pretty big DVD set news. The art has been released, and through season 10's set, they'll be designed like this, with the heads of the family members being the cover art.

  6. 1. Bart Of Darkness
    2. Lisa's Rival
    4. Itchy & Scratchyland
    Yay!
I knew he was a commie, cause he didn't drink [duff] beer.

  7. That reminds me, I should have put an episode listing for this season up, well, here's one. -

    104: Bart Of Darkness
    105: Lisa's Rival
    106: Another Simpson Clip Show
    107: Itchy & Scratchyland
    108: Sideshow Bob Roberts
    109: Treehouse Of Horror V
    110: Bart's Girlfriend
    111: Lisa On Ice
    112: Homer Badman
    113: Grandpa vs. Sexual Inadequacy
    114: Fear Of Flying
    115: Homer The Great
    116: And Maggie Makes Three
    117: Bart's Comet
    118: Homie The Clown
    119: Bart vs. Australia
120: Homer vs. Patty And Selma
    121: A Star Is Burns
    122: Lisa's Wedding
123: Two Dozen And One Greyhounds
    124: The PTA Disbands
    125: Round Springfield
    126: Springfield Connection
    127: Lemon Of Troy
128: Who Shot Mr. Burns? (1)

Off the top of my head, Lisa on Ice, Who Shot Mr. Burns, Itchy and Stratcyland, Homer the Great, Lisa's Rival, Lisa's Wedding, Bart's Comet, and Bart of Darkness will be worth buying the set for. I'm surprised that Bart vs. Australia happened so long ago, it seems like a more recent ep to me.

  9. Well this is it - season 7 was shaky, and season 8 was terrible. Its all downhill from here, pick it up and enjoy.

  10. 1 - 6 was gold. 6 - 8 were good. 8 - 10 were watchable. 10+ are unwatchable.

This is my rating score of their seasons. I'll gladly buy seasons 1 - 10. The only reason I'd buy 10 and over is to complete the series I have going.

The redesigned boxes are ridiculous. They don't look like a series with the completely different set up. If the producers of the DVD's should have put more thought in to the artwork before releasing it.
