BLUEBERRY
Anyone seen this film? I rented it from Blockbuster. It was unlike anything I could have expected. I relly don't know how to comment on it.
Stars - Vincent Casssel, Micheal Madsen, Juliet Lewis, Ernest Borgnine & Eddie Izzard

Ok, it's fuckin' weird.
It makes Clockwork Orange look like Leave it to Beaver.
It looks amazing: the cinematography is great, but the story and the ways it's edited is just bizare.
Maybe BerringerX & Pitfall can give a better summary...

Pitfall said it was originally a comic. Found some covers. (cool comic website)

They guy who makes that comic worked on the Fifth Element. Saw that on my dvd the other day.
I seen it about year ago, when it was released on UK dvd. It was called its original name: Blueberry, which is indeed somewhat of a strange name for a western, and for us public it was changes to generic Renegade.
As for the movie, its pretty much a weid experience. Some crazy visual work in the scenes of peyote induced high, and battle of the minds between Vincent Cassel and Michael Madsen.
It also has quite a cast too.
P.S. How about scenes of Juliet Lewis bush in all its glory as she swims underwated in the film finale.
Summary? I'll sum it up REAL good. NOT ENOUGH BORGNINE.Originally Posted by Aces & Eights
But seriously, we went into this thinking "Cassel + Madsen = cool fighting and badassedness" Nope, no fighting except with their MIND SNAKES AND MIND INSECTS. Oh well, at least the cinematography was more than excellent.
And I want to shake the hand of said cinematographer and the make-up people for actually making Juliette Lewis look pretty.
