Wow, this guy really likes the Sega CD.
Or maybe he just hates emulators.
Or maybe he's a nutcase. At any rate, Final Fight for the Sega CD didn't look as good as the arcade, thanks to the Genesis' dingy color pallette.
I'm so hardcore I only play Final Fight JAMMA boards.
And about the Sega CD version, the biggest problem with it is the timing of the punches. You cannot make Guy or Cody punch as fast in the CD version, it's just not possible.
"Jap bastards" is so redundant.
I thought the punches felt sluggish. In the arcade, you can punch almost as fast as you hit the button.Originally Posted by JefmcC
The SNES version lets you punch that fast but I'd find the lack of Rolento's stage to be a downer. That version could've used another 2 Megabits.
Right now, Sega CD Final Fight is too far off for me even if it's a "complete" version. Aren't there some missing animation frames? I actually like the arcade version's soundtrack more than the arranged one, especially in the Industrial stage.
Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)
Weren't two of the games in your sig made in Japan?Originally Posted by Yoshi

The Sega CD version is far from complete. I think it's missing an entire level. I don't remember the level with all the flames in the Sega CD version.Originally Posted by gameoverDude
Every level is there- flames included. You may be thinking of the SNES version which I believe is missing the Rolento stage (which may be the flame stage).Originally Posted by JefmcC
and elevator. That part was really good in arcades, you don't see a 3 enemy limit on-screen like the sega version.
