Yeah, at that age you can go any time, but it's still sad. He was a good, charismatic actor. Last movie I saw him in was Bubba Ho-Tep as JFK, and if you watch his interview in the DVD extras you could tell he knew he didn't have much time left.
Ossie Davis was one of those guys that you can't really think of a movie or TV show he was in off the top of your head, but you've seen him countless times over the years.
