diffusionx, you're the whiniest little bitch of them all, dude. All he said was: "I think Nintendo can pull out a good game with this concept". They have before. I guess you're incapable of giving Nintendo credit for... anything. You would think that Satoru Iwata raped your mother while forcing you to watch at gunpoint with the stupid shit you spout. Everyone knows you hate Nintendo dude, it's really excessive to post how much you hate them in virtually EVERY FUCKING NINTENDO RELATED THREAD. You may hate the company, but you're awfully obsessed with them...Originally Posted by diffusionx

There you go, you figured out why everyone is complaining, though you were a little too preoccupied with the whole yell-at-people thing to notice it.Originally Posted by SMBChick

Well, to be honest if Nintendo hadn't made any pinball games and were looking for a franchise to use, Metroid really does make the most sense. The morph ball makes more sense than whatever shit that was in Mario Pinball, and the whole "collect item A to progress and be able to pick up items B, C and D" structure of the series could actually be stuck into a mid-90s pinball table design rather easily.
The problem with all of this is that I doubt this will have the kind of care needed put into it in order to get an awesome pinball game. Instead we'll most likely get a table with two targets and a bumper, similar to Kirby and Mario (and to a lesser extent Pokemon as well).
I said "I'm pretty sure".
I also stated that I wasn't a fan of pinball. I could be surprised.
(I'm also not really a big fan of Metroid. BTW).
You see... I like to, reserve judgment. Even if the game still didn't appeal to me after playing it, it doesn't mean it's a shit game either. As for now, I have no idea what it will be like, and neither do any of you.
So it's Metroid... what about all of the other 1,001 tittles for pinball that don't "fit"!?
If you like metroid, and this ruins the series for you, that's... pretty sad.

HAL did a great job on Pokemon Pinball so I think they would be a good choice to develop the Metroid game. I would prefer R&D1 do it though. Realistically it will probably be Fuse developing again.Originally Posted by Jeremy
You're still missing the point. This is just another game in the list of the dozens of Nintendo titles in recent years that very few people care for. This is not the same Nintendo that made games that everyone loved.Originally Posted by SMBChick
I don't care how good this game ends up being, it doesn't appeal to me in any way, and millions of others agree.
And... How do you know this game doesn't have an audience?
