  1. Sqoon is awesome.

Did anyone mention girl pants, by the way?

Sacred in the sense that sentient life is sacred. You respect a certain sanctity of human life, no? And there are FAR more reasons to be vegan/vegetarian.

Anyways, back on topic- Emo began as a subgenre of punk/hardcore. It can be argued that the first emo band was Nation of Ulysses back in the 80's. Like most things when they break into the mainstream, what is commonly known as emo today actually bears very little resemblence to the emo of the 80's and 90's. What often surprises me is how few of these emo-scenesters today know anything of the history of that scene. As it is, most people who were involved in the emo scene then (which seemed much heavier and darker to me), don't really associate with what has come to be known as emo among mainstream scenesters and high school kids.
So basically emo= whining about girls.
To boldly go where lots of men have gone before...

Don't be too surprised. I am a fiscal conservative, not a religious one, though my morals in many cases align with Christians. I am a big animal/nature lover, so my political stances tend to be very Nixon-esque (he started the EPA afterall).

  4. Nixon pushed that policy out of public opinion. Im not sure he was exactly behind it or believed in it.

  5. One time I complimented this chick on her specs. She told me they were non-prescription.

I never talked to her again.
"Chuy, you're going to have a magical life. Because no matter where you go, it's always going to be better than Tucson."

    So you're against abortion, then?

What about Sunny Day Real Estate, aren't they considered original Emo?

Good News; I have fake glasses too!

I haven't worn them more than like 4 times in the last half a year, though.

Kind of. They took what was a genre of hardcore and applied pop punk aspects to it, which in turn influenced a gazillion 'emo' bands we have running around today.

    That's retarded.

What's the point of fake glasses? Are perfectly healthy kids going to start using crutches and walkers as fashion accessories next?

If it looked good, yeah. Glasses have a sort of power in them though.
