As for the dialogue, the only thing I noticed that bugged me was that the cop was constantly "Hey rose, check this out!" 2 seconds later, "You gotta see this!", a little later"Have you seen this?!"

After having a few days to digest SH, I feel a little better about it. I still say the first part was totally perfect and beyond amazing, and the second half (starting right after my new hero Pyramid Head skins the girl and Rose and Cybil lock themselves in the church with the cult) is just okay. But the first half is worth sitting through the second half.

I still like the movie alot. And I never played the games. I now regret trading it in when I did. I was in the city and was wandering around.

In my head I was like "WTF? This game is Awesome? All I'm doing is running."

Now though after seeing the movie ... I'm mad at myself I never gave the game time.

The movie was awesome, first half was great. People in my theater jumped ... if they weren't on the cell phone. The second half I can see where peeps would be bored, but I think it wasn't too long. It was long, but not like "zzzzzz ... snort ... drool ...zzzz"

I forget who mentioned it here, but I can see the Anti-Bush message. It was when Rose confonted the evil priestess the first time. That whole speech between Rose and her was like Anti-Bush ... outsiders, must emilinate evil, etc. I can see it, but it wasn't steeped in it.

Because it's a movie and not a videogame, so there's no player interaction to make up for atmosphere-breaking dialog.

And yes, it fell apart at the church. Everything before that was great, and hell, a few scattered bits after that were good too, but the second they go through that door you can almost feel all the air being let out of the movie.
