The game has been updated a whole lot since you played. Now gangs will chase you if your in a close radius. The more hostile they are the worse they will go after you. The agent that probably shot you is more than likely the lvl 255 agent that appears when your in an area your not supposed to be in. He pretty much kills you in one hit. The new update really enforces getting the access node and now details which areas you need access clearance.

Fights have been updated a ton too, they now have final sound effects and more animations and better camera. Also bigger details pop up to show damage and status effects and exp during fights. Its now way much easier to see whats going on.

Another new update. Starting Saturday they will be having a final game preview online for all beta testers to celebrate it being released in 2 weeks. The preview will go on till Tuesday at 9 PST. The preview will show many new characters and story bits and a few other things for people to see and try out.

Well beta ends tonight and its going out with a bang. They have released some new cinemas and reveal some VERY big twists. Also the matrix is in a total state of appocolypse at the moment. The whole place is red and a virus is running rampant setting people on fire. Also the sky is filled with eyes and the machines are purging humans out of the system.

Lots of stuff I won't go into detail to save spoilers.

Finally matrix has went gold already too. Lets hope my copy comes in the mail soon.

Today is the big day that pre order people can start playing Matrix online. Pre orders will also have beta jump on their account which gives you a +10 super jump ability. Once you get regular super jump at lvl 10, you will have +10 added onto that. Retail buyers should be able to play around Tuesday.

A lot of info has come out about the game. Seems like things will not be as the beta ended and will go back to right after the 3rd movie.

Also they have told some rather interesting information about the servers. They have renamed some of the servers and atleast one server will be designated "hostile". In hostile servers when tessions get tense between groups in the story, you can expect some major conflicts on hostile servers. Anyone lvl 15 and above will not be able to avoid the conflict, but lower lvl's will be able to choose to fight or not.

Been awhile since I updated this, but lots of events been going on. They've added a lot of new stuff also. They now got a few cameras to choose from and added a in game media player.

But the big updates have been the story events. Lately there has been a infestation of fake agents with red blinking eyes and red LED PDA's. They were a ploy by someone to break the truce between machine and human.

This past week has seen the fake agents totally take over gangs and leave mysterious RSI fragments. So each day each organization has been scrambling to collect as many of the fragments as possible with the agents really increasing in numbers and attacking people the later in the night.

After the organizations had time to investigate the fragments, it turns out they are part of Neo's RSI and may be used to bring him back. Also a 4th group has come out and is behind the whole fake agent business. Today has seen all 3 organizations team up to fight this mysterious 4th group in what ended in a BIG war in Magog. After some brutal fighting we ended up victorous and stopped the fake agent madness.

Now there is a brief calm till the 4th group begins their next plan. I took some pretty good screen shots of the war. I may post them later.

The official site just posted up a summary of last weeks events with pictures and detailed story.

They also announced the event schedule for the next 6 months after the sucess of the live events that took place last week. Also some new cinemas will be released along with more critical missions. This all comes just in time for me too, cause I have finished around half of the side missions and all of the critical missions for my main character.
