I participated in the Friends & Family Trial Program and would like to subscribe to the game. How do I activate my account?
You can convert your trial account into a live game account by purchasing The Matrix Online at your local video game retailer.

For those wondering what I mean, the trial account I got from Frostwolf was the "full version." So even though I have no physical copy whatsoever I also never had to buy CoH, I just pay the standard monthly fee.

Yea I'm not really sure how the whole trial thing works out fully either. I was guessing it would work like beta testing did. I really didn't need my hardcopy except for the serial key that was on the box. So I'm guessing if you buy it online after the free trial they could maybe send a serial through email or just wait for the hardcopy to come through snail mail.

Yea it may seem the game is in beta the way we talk about updates, but they just always improve and tweek stuff from people feed back. I don't know how other MMRPG's run, but on Matrix online if you have any type of problem you can type /ccr and submit a form about it. Usually if someone finds a bug/exploit or balance issues they can use generated system files and description of the problem to fix it. They have changed gameplay stuff before and people sent in complaints about it and they've changed it back also.

Also usually before big events they always add alot of new stuff like a cinema, mission packs and everything else to go with the new event. Out of all the online games I've played they update this thing the most.

The free trial keys were mailed today. I have 2 left and mech will probably post about his.

They released the new map/guide thingy yesterday and something went wrong with the new update so they rolled back. Guess we gotta wait a few days for em to release it again. Oh well didn't really lose anything important.

They have also released the second cinema for download on the official site.

The big 10 day event "the hunt for morpheus" starts tonight. Also the new patch will have new balancing between the job classes and the world atlas will be released again. Probably a whole load of other stuff which I'll find out later.
