Cream Soda vs. Root Beer

This is very good news for me, as the A&W stuff is starting to wear thin.

Hell yeah.

I had this at a convenient store somewhere months ago, so I'm guessing they've pretty much gone public.

While you'd be better off just going through the task of getting a tub of Bluebell and some root beer for that true authentic taste, the stuff you mentioned mimics its pretty well. But the after taste (it's always the after taste) reminds you that it's not the real thing. Also, whatever their using to imitate vanilla does not taste like vanilla.

Havent had that, but they also have a Barq's floats Ice Cream, that come in these push up packs. I got a box from Costco last fall, but havent been able to find them since. Great stuff

I just had a bottle of Mug root beer last night. I forgot how shitty that stuff is. Tastes like those barrel-shaped root beer candies, not real root beer. Their cream soda tastes like it's nothing but sugar and is also somewhat foul. If you're anywhere near NEPA, try to get some Lion Brewery root beer. Excellent stuff.

If you're anywhere near NEPA, you also probably have a Wegmans nearby, and you know the king of store brand soda. Dr. W and Mountain W forever. Sam's Choice soda is also good too. Cheap as shit and it tastes good. But most people who buy carbonated beverages are stupid and don't know that RC Cola is awesome, either.

It's made by Sobe, tastes kinda like Dr Pepper, is actually green and is literally the best soda ever made by man.
