  1. No Trigun game at e3 eh?

Thats one of my most highly anticipated games for the ps2.

  2. I think you are misunderstanding me. I have no problem with action games that require only pressing one or two buttons. I LOVE shumps, and they fall into that category. I also have no problem with games requiring no specific goals. again, like shmups. GunGrave is all about the action, and I have no problem with that. but the action is lame, thus making the game....quite lame. perhaps others will find the game fun, but i did not. *goes back to playing shmups*

They created the series to begin with, making ST1 and ST2 for the Saturn. Overworks then ported those to the dreamcast. ST3 was RED/Overworks, but I don't know who did what. RED apparently had almost nothing to do with ST4 though.

Not sure who did the Hanagumi Columns games, but I think it was RED.

Hrm, suppose I'll have to wait and see. I realize this is a very general and unrefined question, but why is the action bad? Is it too over-powered in your character or what?

Klonoa: Thank you! I love little Yoh myself! Especially after the events he just went through, he's even slicker after his cave training...

I certainly hope they don't add any sort of mission element (unless it's done solely in cutscenes and doesn't interfere with the levels), because I'm sick of developers sticking in useless goals in action games for the sole purpose of making it play longer, despite the fact that almost no one actually wants to perform those goals, and want to play the action game for the action...
Another person who understands why so many 3D "action" games suck - because they put filler in the action !!

I have high hopes for GunGrave, DMC 2, the new Ninja Gaiden, and Contra:SS because they seem to be pure action games

  6. Don't jump the gun on this game yet; it was only about 60% complete I believe, and it's scheduled for a fall release, so I have the feeling there is still a lot of work going into it. True, the first stage required little skill, but it was only the first stage and a training level of sorts. I have the Sega press kit in my lap right now, I'll check the CD to get you guys some pics later today...
