Just to clear up a misconception- James Cameron is working on a movie called Avatar, while M Night Shyalaman is doing The Last Airbender. They're two totally different movies with no connection at all. Avatar is an original James Cameron story, and has nothing to do with the animated show.

I'm pretty sure they dropped "Avatar" from all promo material for this a long time ago because of JC's flick.

Anyway, I did that thing were you wait and wait to buy something, you buy it, then the price drops out of it.

I checked around on prices and everything was 36 at the cheapest. So I picked up a used copy at Sam goody for 34. Well the first two sets are now 30 on amazon now and the stand alone season one disk are 3 each at walmart.

But don't be too hasty in buying these up. There is a reserve on amazon for the complete set that hasn't got a release date yet. Most likely they are going to put out a 3 season set when the movie is released and the current mark downs are to move stock before all the movie related dvds and toys come out.

I made finch watch the first 5 episodes last night! good times and yeah season 1 is the worst of the 3 seasons, that says something.
