Man, that season flew by. The last 2 episodes were really, really well done. Some of their best stuff.

Anyone watching Top Gear USA? Despite what people say, it's not horrible. There is still a lot of room for improvement though. I've only watched the first two.

TG USA has been getting better, but there's still a long ways to go.

As for last night's episode:

They started the drag race in Manhattan literally outside my office; the building that said Credit Agricole on the front with the green statues on the corner. That got me excited.

But then Jezza turned left after they hit traffic and the map placed him at 39th street, but they took off going north at 53rd st. Stupid fabricated race through NYC.



Also, I look forward to the Ben Collins book. The whole Stig situation is fucked.

Top Gear USA isn't that bad, the production is there. The hosts just need work together longer and find their own voice. They're mimicking the original so much it makes it feel cheaper or something.

It's targeted to an audience that is ignorant of the original though, so it's new to them.
