Wow, don't be so bitter. Not wanting to change my girlfriend into a gamer doesn't somehow equal never playing games with her, it just means that I'm comfortable enough with her to have seperate interests and to not be joined at the hip with her every second of the day.

Not bitter just tired of all these lame women and men both posting articles that girls could actually appreciate and love gaming as much or more then men do.

I agree. That's why I'm not going to try to make a girl be that way. If she is, fine, but I don't see the need in trying to mold a woman into someone who's only into the same things I am. Seperate interests are a healthy thing.

  10. My wife started playing games all on her own. Not to say that I did not spur her on a little in the begining, but I never forced it upon her. If the girl likes games she likes them if not... hell who cares.

Now we both play games at the same time. Me on the couch with the handheld or PSOne w/LCD her using the Xbox or vice versa. When we both want to play game on the TV we bought extra hookups for the different TVs in different rooms.

She still has other interests and what not, but Silent Hill and Harvest Moon pretty much dominates her hobbies.
