I bit down and ordered spikeout and the sf annaversary controller from EBgames which threw my budget abit out of whack. Also one of my local used dealers had an extra xbox av pack for $9.99 so I picked it up as a replacement for my monster cables (peice of fragle crap I tell ya). When I hooked that up, one of the colors wasn't working and I had some weird waves coming out in my signal. So what I did was unhook the audio for my optical (didn't need that anyway) and replaced the cords with regular RCAs, VOLA! I'm good to go once again.

Now I can play SF3 without that damn dot crawl which was starting to bug the snot out of me.

monster cables (peice of fragle crap I tell ya)

Worst products ever. I had a PS2 component cable for four months, didn't move the PS2 or touch the cable at any point those four months. One day, the video cables stop working, but the audio cables still work. What the fuck, biggest waste of $70. They didn't even make a huge difference in video quality
