Thread: Nintendogs

  1. This game doesn't really need a plot, it's a sim game. I mean what is the plot of Rollercoster Tycoon? Make rollercoasters I guess. This game is about taking care of a puppy. Simple as that. If you don't like puppies or sim type games don't buy it.

  2. 40/40 Famitisu? I hope it's true.

It's amazing how Nintendo is able to come up with things like this, just in the nick of time.

Wait, this was released 5 years ago?

  4. Tetris, Pokemon, things like that helped their dominance in handheld gaming when worthy competitors showed up despite having inferior technology..... if only they could spark the same magic on their home consoles....

  5. True, but stuff like a dog sim on a gimmick console is just too little, too late for me.

  6. I seriously doubt that Nintendogs will have a Pokémon/Tetris impact, or anything near it.

  7. release date US?
    release date PAL?

    Sales seem to say differently:

    Nintendogs software sales news -

    http://ruliweb.dreamwiz.com/ruliboar...t=&left=b&time

I'm not sure if the source is reliable but-

    Sales for April 21st - 80,000
    Sales April 22nd-25th- 247,000

Total sales for first 5 days = 327,000

  9. Hang it up haters. Nintendogs is GOTY and the sales prove it. Take it!

If sales prove anything, then I'm pretty sure Madden 2006 will end up the game of the year.
