It's trendy. Fags. I'll drink it though... fucking Jagerbombs are all the rage around here. I call it the pussyman's carbomb (ICBs btw, will fuck your stomach up). The best thing to have Jager in it are Four Horsemen. If you some bad sinus congestion, drink one or two and it'll clear you right up immediately.

I like ales, lagers and beers. Newcastle draught as well as Shiner Bock (Texas beer) if I'm in the mood for something lighter (and cheaper, but only slightly). SB is what I call the Light beer with a tan. Compared to other "Lights" (Bud, Miller et al) it's quite stout. Not a fan of Guiness but at least it's a real beer.

Chimay is a bit pricey and I can drink it out on the town (I'd pay out the ass in any of the bars or cafes I could find it at). I still love the stuff though. Others like it but not as good are Orval, La Trappe (suggested only to be consumed with food that has some beef stock in it, like stews or gravys, poltry goes poorly with it.), and the lighter Duvel (which can also be found at many bars for cheaper).

From the high end to the low end - I've become quite the afficinado of cheap beers. Miller High Life is not bad. You really can't say any of these are good, but rather - good for the price. The best is OE of course, which is a steal and will get you where your going on a budget. High Life, ironically, is the best thing Miller has. I see no reason to drink MGD, Light or any other lable they have over MHL simply because it's cheaper and is better or at least has no decernable diffrence between them. High Life is my, "I just got off work and I want a beer but don't have money," beer of choice.

Then there's whiskey. Whiskey comes in 4 varietys to me.
GREAT - Johnny Walker Black
Really Good - Dewars White
Ok - Wild Turkey
GAG - McCormicks Makes Whiskey (yes, McCormicks makes whiskey.)

Other whiskies may fit into these categories but those are the examples. Ok whiskies are Crown Royal, Jim Bean and such. JD is Gag terrirtory. Really good ones besides Dewars are Royal Canadian and a few others. JWB is the only truely great whiskey.

Beyond that, Grey Goose is the only vodka I take, Bacardi makes the rest of the stuff I drink if I drink it at all. It's most likely not the best but who care... I'd probably rather have a dark stout pilsner over it anyway.

Widmer Brothers Hefeweizen (Wheat Beer) and Newcastle. Miller High Life doesn't cost much at all ($12 for a 24 pack) and tastes pretty good.

Shiner Hefewizen (variant of Shiner Bock) is pretty good too. I think you should look around SD for a nice liqor store that carries Shiner. I think you'll like it.
