Thread: Films shot entirely in the first person

Films shot entirely in the first person

    Are there any?

And more specifically are there any good ones?

I have an idea for a script, but I'd like to see previous examples of this before I try writing it. It would have to be shot very tight, and there's all sorts of potential for badness and cheesiness.

  2. Ive seen a lot of porn shot in first person.

    Oh yeah, Blaire Witch project.

Was BWP shot in first person? Like through the eyes of the character?

If it was, then I'm remembering wrong, and either way,

  4. BWP made me throw up from motion sickness.

Oh yeah, that might turn some people off.

The only thing I'm really coming up with is a ride at DisneyWorld where the riders/audience is sitting in the brain of a teenager looking out through his eyes.

I've seen it in short films and some animation.

Bill Pympton has a pretty cool one.

The gunfight one is really cool.

BWP is first person, but not through the eyes of the characters. They are just all holding the cameras.

Those two links are actually a bit useless but those are the notable ones. They're cartoons if you didn't already know. I suggest just renting a compendium like Mondo Plymton.

Playing Silent Hill 4 might prove useful too.

    Thanks, I'll check these out.
As to SH4....after 2 I think I'd have to pay someone to play it for me while I watched.
