Kratos is awesome.

He totally isnt deep and nuanced but clearly the team had no intention of making him that way... Id take that over a prissy emo fag in a typically worthless Japanese action game story. Not speaking of any character in particular, though. =D

Fuck that, Dante was just as much design by committee, except the committee in his case was the cast of Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

I just wish either DMC3 or GoW had harder difficulties that weren't complete copouts and horrendously boring. Both were great games overall, although GoW had random shitty parts scattered throughout and then completely fell apart at the end but was still filled with a lot of great moments.

In any case, there was an interview with David Jaffe in the latest EGM. I found it kind of funny reading him talk about how crappy Hades was.

So what is wrong with Dante's design? Kratos is cool and all, but he is far goofier looking than Dante. I mean, come on this:
